Terrorism needs military solution - Kabir Hashim

The UNP is of the firm stance that terrorism needs a military solution although it calls for a political solution for the innocent Tamil people, said party MP for Kegalle Kabir Hashim.
He told a public rally at Mawanella town yesterday (Dec. 28) that military victories were impossible without economic strength.
Now, the economy has collapsed due to the failed economic management, wastage and corruption of the present regime, the MP said.
The LTTE, which has weakened by the military offensives today, is finding this economic collapse a great strength for the organization, he added.
