கடவுள் ஏன் கல்லானார்?

Before God made man upon the earth, He first prepared for him a world of
useful and pleasant 'Gifts' for man's sustenance and delight.
They were made for man's use but always to be external to the man.

In the deep heart of the man was a shrine
where none but God was worthy to live, without a thousand 'Gifts'.

மனம் என்னும் கோயில்!

But our woes began when 'Gifts' were allowed to enter, to take the place of God.
With a heart to possess and always to possess, covet with a deep and fierce passion,
God's 'Gifts' now take the place of God and God is forced out of His central shrine.

Now we are back to the title question, கடவுள் ஏன் கல்லானார்?
And our very own Vaathiyar's answer still stands as the best!
மனம் கல்லாய் போன மனிதர்களாலே!

Whilst thousands and thousands of Tamil youth were sacrificing their lives
for the liberation of Tamil homeland, we left our motherland in pursuit of the
betterment of our lives and when we achieved it, up to the point where we are now 'laughing co laughing' (An Aust Tamil Drama) at our own shortcomings!

And when the final moments of the gruesome war arrived, instead of seeking
God's mercy with all our heart and soul, we focused our faith on the international
community naively believing that it would save our people!

Today our belief in men, our faith in the international community, is torn
out of our heart, like a plant from the soil! It is extracted like a tooth
from the jaw, in agony and blood, leaving us totally shattered!

We are left with nothing but unimaginable woe and untold misery for
300,000 of our precious uravukal who are suffering in humiliating circumstances
under the heel of the tyrant!

Today we have an impossible situation in our Thayaham.
And the omnipotent God can turn around the situation with one miracle!
I will go before you and will level the mountains..and cut through bars of iron. Isaiah 45:2


When God delivered the Israelites
they were not feasting with Egyptians!
They were groaning and moaning in years of slavery! Exodus 2:23-25

And they had only one Israelite Moses
outside the slavery to plead with God!

Today we have one million Tamil Moses
away from the oppression!
